Edward William Thompson II passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 in Three Rivers. Edward was born in Petoskey on March 4, 1970 to Edward and Claudette Thompson of Cheboygan. He was raised in Cheboygan and graduated from Cheboygan Area High School in 1988. He worked most of his life in the manufactured home industry in the northern Indiana area.
Survivors include a daughter, Claudia, and son, Edward III of Three Rivers; father, Edward W. Thompson Sr. (Joyce) of Carp Lake; brother, Stephen Alexander (Marlene) of Cheboygan; sisters, Collette (Cully) Ocko (Jim) of Engadine, Wendy Thompson of Alanson, Dannette Osier (Ray Sr.) of Pellston; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins mostly of the southern Michigan area. Edward was preceded in death by his mother, Claudette, in 1996.
Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution is asked to remember the children, Claudia and Edward. A fund has been set up at the Straits Area Credit Union in Cheboygan.
