One of the first things I learned about Mylenda was her last name before she married. Price. She enjoyed the Monday afternoon Bible study at Bowman House. That's where her sensitive side showed up. When we discussed the resurrection of our loved ones she often commented that she'd like to see her mom and dad again. When we talked about Jesus's death or anything like that, she would tear up and cry. We had some good times on Mondays. There were a few times, when out of the blue, she'd say something so out of character and we'd all bust out laughing. One thing we agreed on, is what Jesus taught about seeing our loved ones again. At John 5:28,29 Jesus told us "Not to marvel, that those in the memorial tombs would hear his voice and come out to a resurrection of life, or judgment." He had taught that the "Meek will inherit the earth." This is a positive hope that is found in the Bible, and Mylenda found comfort in those scriptures. Many folks have you in their thoughts. We've missed her on Mondays. Her smile is in our memories.
