An open house celebrating Harold’s life will be held on Saturday September 13th from 1-4 at his home.
Harold LeRoy Wahl was born on the farm, September 4, 1929 in Centreville, Michigan. He passed away at home on Monday, August 18, 2014.
The son of Carl and Emma (Schultz) Wahl, he graduated from Centreville High School in 1947. On July 12, 1947 he married Mary Dailey in Centreville.
In his early years, he worked with his father on the family farm. In his later life he worked several years at Continental Can Company in Three Rivers. He retired from Huddleston Lumber, Three Rivers.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Wahl, two sons, Douglas (Terrie) of Centreville and Carl (Cheryl) of Phoenix, AZ, three daughters, Sandra (Ben) Russell of Constantine, Christine (Mohsen) Hamadanchi of Goshen, IN, Dawn (Dave) Boughton of Three Rivers, twenty grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, a sister Oma (Jim) Walker of Centreville, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Wayne Wahl, a great grandson Matthew Wahl, and many close friends. He loved fishing and winters in Texas.
