The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6 :00 - 8;00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral Services and Military Honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 3, 2014 at Hohner Funeral Home with Chaplain Deb Lewis and Bill Stevens officiating.
Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Three Rivers, MI with Military Honors under the auspices of the United State Marine Corp. League.
Master Sergeant Todd Michael Larkin, age 36, of Three Rivers, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014 following complications from service related injuries. He was born on June 19, 1978 in Three Rivers, MI., the son of Mr. Donald Larkin and Melodee (Reames) Larkin.
Todd graduated from Three Rivers High School with the class of 1997. He participated in wrestling, football and the arts program. Todd enjoyed lifting weights, was an exceptional artist, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. His true love was spending time with family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews.
Master Sgt. Todd Larkin honorably served his country from 1997 until his discharge in 2010. He was stationed as an M.P. (Military Police) in Okinawa, Egypt, Kenya, Camp Pendleton, Mirimar, CA., Fallujah, Iraq, and finally in Camp Lajune, N.C. Mr. Larkin was career military until he fell ill. He loved serving his country, his family, and especially the Marine Corps. He was a member of the Marine Corps League#1401 and the American Legion Hice-Shutes Post #170.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bud Reames, grandmother, Phyllis Larkin,one sister, Heather (Larkin) Muffley, step-grandparents, Carl and Betty Armstrong and cousin David Reames.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, mother, Melodee (Thomas) Armstrong; father, Donald (Jeri) Larkin; brothers, Rex (Shelley) Larkin and Charlie Larkin; grandmother, Patricia Reames; uncles, Dennis (Gail) Reames, Jeff (Carla) Reames; Step-siblings, Doug (Laura) Armstrong, Neil Armstrong, and Beth Evans, Christi Young, Sunny Mercie, John and Brian Mattheis; brother-in-law, Chad Muffley; and very special nieces Amber Marie Larkin, Kylie Larkin and Emma Muffley. Several extended family and very close friends.
Memorials may be donated to the Marine Corp. League #1401 or Homes For Our Troop organization. Envelopes available at Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
