The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of services beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2015 at Hohner Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Marcellus Cemetery.

Obituary Notice


Donald Dean Bent, age 81, of Three Rivers, MI., passed away on Thursday, June 25th, 2015 at the Heartland Healthcare Center. He was born on March 15, 1934 in Marcellus, MI., the son of the late John and Edith (James) Bent.
Mr. Bent has been a life long resident of Marcellus and Three Rivers. On June 20th, 1953 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Mrs. Virginia (McGary) Bent. Mr. Bent has been a truck driver for over forty-years delivering milk for Dean’s Dairy and later for Jeffer’s Oil now Walters-Dimmick Petroleum where he garnered many friendships with customers.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, one brother John Bent, and one special nephew, Bobby Meyers.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, wife of 62 years Virginia Bent, of Three Rivers, three daughters, Sandy (Dan) Daugherty, of Three Rivers, Sharon (Art) Noel, and Ginny (David) Wolf, of Crescent, Oklahoma; one sister, Ellen (Merle) Hershberger, of Ohio. Six grandchildren, Nancy Oldenberg, Tim (Tonya) Miller, Tom Reed, Tammy Bent, Denny Seager, and Jeffrey Seager; seventeen grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
