Obituary Notice

Passed away at her home surrounded by family on Thursday, October 29, 2015; it was her 76th birthday. She was born in Bronson, MI, on October 29, 1939, the daughter of the late Wendal and Edna (Lewis) Wilber. She was the second of four children, and was a loving daughter and sister. She remained a lifelong resident in Michigan eventually settling in Mendon to raise her family. She had a strong will and spirit that was tested through many trials. Though she was quiet by nature, her loyalty to her family, friends, and community never wavered, and she was always a joy to be around. On June 2, 1954, she married Phillip Zinsmaster who preceded her in passing in August of 2005. She was also preceded in passing by a brother, Jim Wilber. She was a hard worker who retired from the Lear Company in 2001. She also worked at Research Molding and was a Mendon School Bus Driver for many years. When not working she loved spending time at the Leidy Lake Campground where she made many friends and hosted an annual Memorial Day Gathering with family. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crochet. Above all Linda loved her family and was proud of all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her home and her heart were always open to them and she did her very best to provide for their happiness. She leaves behind memories to cherish and will be missed in the days and years to come. On September 2, 1983, she married Duane Bell who survives. She is also survived by her four children, Jackie (Bob “Red”) Baker, Tom (Jonnie Banks) Zinsmaster, Pat Phelps, Wendy (Jeff Dunlap) Zinsmaster; six grandchildren, Rusty (Lori Hart) Baker, Kylee (Dan) Adams, Abby Baker, Josh (Tracy) Himes, Troy (Betsy) Huckendubler, Courtney (Jake Tyler) Huckendubler; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Stella (Bob) Pifer; nieces, nephews, and friends.
