To have known Bill is to have known one of the "Good Guys".

In 40 years of friendship, never a bad word was spoken between us. It has been an honor to have him as a neighbor at the "Lake" and a true friend.

I'm not sure that I've ever met a more high character person in my life. What a great man who will truly be missed by all that knew him. Tonight I will raise a Natural Light in the air and enjoy it thinking of Bill Steinbach as I remember all of the times that we did the exact same thing together.

What a shock to us and our prayers are with Nancy, the girls and Bill's sister and all Bill's friends. We were classmates from the Class of 1960 and we enjoyed knowing both Bill and Nancy for many years. Bill was a man with a gentle heart and always smiling. He will be missed by so many people. We are very sad to hear this and at a loss for words.

Michael (Mick) Ciesielski

I am very sorry to learn about this only today. I have always felt very fortunate to have Bill and Nancy as neighbors, and what good neighbors to have! Bumping into you guys, together or separately, has always been a guaranteed high point of the day. More pleasant people cannot be found. Nancy, our deepest condolences
