The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Hohner Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Tyler will be held 11:00 a.m. on Sat. Aug. 3, 2019 at the Riverside Church, 207 E. Michigan Ave, Three Rivers, MI 49093. Military Honors to follow services at the church.
Obituary Notice
Mr. Tyler Cole Hershberger, age 25, of Three Rivers, passed away tragically in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, July 27, 2019. Tyler was born in Kalamazoo, MI., on August 17, 1993 the son of Stew Hershberger and Shana Leeper.
Tyler graduated from Three Rivers High School with the class of 2012 and following served his country in the U.S. Army as an E-4 Specialist. On January 2nd, 2014 he married the love of his life Mrs. Kimberlyn (Peters) Hershberger.
Tyler loved motorcycling, snowmobiling, hunting, traveling, water skiing, and his guns. His true passion was spending time with the ones he loved, especially family and close friends who will dearly miss him.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife, Kimberlyn (Peters) Hershberger; mother, Shana (Shannon Hampsten) Leeper; father, Stew (Cathy) Hershberger; sisters, Kaylie (Envin) Billings, Stacie (Gideon) Hebron, and Joanna (Chad) Kelly, grandparents, Maynard Hershberger, Sally Smith, and Bill Leeper; two nephews, Ethan Jones and Beau Kelly; father and mother in-in-law, Jon (Julie) Peters; brother-in-law, Kyle Peters; many aunts, uncles, and extended family as well.

Memorials may be donated to the family c/o Kimberlyn Hershberger. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or church.

Shana and family – I was so saddened to hear about Tyler’s passing. My heart goes out to you. Praying for peace for all of you as you make it through the days ahead. Nothing will fill the space he left, but I hope you can take comfort in the wonderful memories you created and shared with him.
Wow!! Tyler man I cant believe this.Im really going to miss you.Its not going to be the same watching you and Mike walk up before clock in,standing by the garbage and I walk up always teasing and laughing. It’s not the same since you been gone.

I’m very sorry for the loss of such a special person. I didn’t know Tyler personally but heard plenty about him from my family. I’m very thankful for his service to our country.

We remember Ty when he a little tyke living with Stew & Cathy in California. He was a very polite and mature young man…always had a smile. We know how much he was loved and will be missed. You are all in our prayers.
