Service Details
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until time of services at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 8th 2019 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Booko officiating.
Cremation will follow services.
Obituary Notice
Michael A. Johnson, age 57, of Three Rivers, MI. passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Three Rivers Health following a short illness. He was born in Sturgis, Mich., on March 11, 1962 the son of Mr. Paul K. and Hazel (Shumway) Johnson.
Mike graduated from Three Rivers High School with the class of 1980. He was employed at American Axle Manufacturing for many years. Before his illness Mike attended Riverside Church.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, parents, Jack K. and Hazel Hoffine; wife, Penny (Harsh) Johnson; two step-sons, Tony Jackson and Gerald (Jaine) Owen; one step-daughter, Jody (Todd) May; brother, Scott (Jerry) Johnson; sisters, Judy (Chris) Crawford, and Julie (Frank) Gervasi; several nieces and nephews.
Additional Information
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family of Michael A. Johnson c/o Scott Johnson. Envelopes are available at Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

Mike was a very giving man he helped me a lot over the years and I have been very thankful to have had him in our family he is dearly missed.
I first meant Tony thru his son who was friends with my sons. To be honest I did not think that I would like him considering what was said about him and some of his actions. But that changed as I got to know him more and he came to be a friend. I remember that he use to show up on a Sunday morning to sit on my front porch and just talk. I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers are with the family.
