Service Details
In accordance with John’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 53681 Stevens Lane, Three Rivers, MI 49093 and a separate service will be held at Rudyard Cemetery on N. Tilson Rd. in Rudyard, MI at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019.
Obituary Notice
John E. Gaylor, age 81, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019. John was born in Almont, MI and raised on a farm in the Upper Peninsula (Fibre, MI). He married his beloved wife: Dora Mae Wiseman, on October 22, 1960, in Harbor springs, MI.
John loved spending time with his family, his pets (especially his dogs), telling jokes, camping, and watching westerns.
John was preceded in death by his wife, son: Paul, and three of his brothers: Albert, Kenneth, and Paul.
He leaves to his loving memory his daughter: Elain (Robert) Staffen; grandchildren: Jacob (Megan) Gaylor, Noah (Nicole) Gaylor, Audre Staffen, and Justin Staffen; three sisters, two brothers, many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
Additional Information
Memorials donated in John’s memory may be made out to The Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes are available at Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
