Obituary Notice
Dale Harvey Lockwood Sr., age 91, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26th, 2020 at the Birch Meadows Assisted Living Facility. Dale was born on September 2, 1928 in Three Rivers, MI. the son of the late Fred and Myrtle (Parker) Lockwood.
Dale has been a lifetime resident of Three Rivers. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army as a Corporal. He was a member of the American Legion Hice-Shutes Post #170 of Three Rivers. Dale was employed for General Telephone (G.T.E.) finishing his career as a Construction Supervisor after many years of service.
Mr. Lockwood was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean L. (Kiel) Lockwood; one son, Steve (Kathy) Lockwood, one granddaughter, Jodie Lockwood. Two brothers, Fred and Paul Lockwood, as well as two sisters-in-law, Dixie Baker, and Joanne York; two brothers-in-law, Art and John Kiel.
Dale Sr. leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife, Gertrude Lockwood; one son, Dale R. Lockwood, one granddaughter, Tracy Faile; one brother, Doug (Shirley) Lockwood. Many nieces and nephews.
