To Harolds family and friends I’m sorry for your loss. I didn’t know him personally but he always greeted me when I would go into Meijer. Prayers for all.
We knew Harold because he married our good friend Bev. We visited him and Bev a few times through the years and he was always cheerful and encouraging.
The hope we have reassures us that we will see him again and he will be smiling and cheerful as always and healthy.
In the meantime we send our condolences to Bev and family. We pray that all can endure until then.

Harold was such a nice guy, I’ve chatted with him at least once a week for the last several years… rest easy kind sir!
Very nice man. Prayers for the family.
I have known Harold since 8th grade. Then I later worked along side him as a custodian at GTE for 10 months. During that time I got to know him quite well.
We were 22. He told me that he worked there to pay his bills but his real job was ministering.
When he started working at GTE the manager told him that the only job he would ever be able to do was a custodian. That would be a valid discrimination case now.
After 30+ years he retired and the next day went to work for a cleaning service in Mendon. Eventually a greeter at Meijer. I would stop and talk with him every time I saw him there. He would ask how Barb was. As people came in and out he would welcome them or thank them.
His knees were giving out. He had the elastic knee braces on. He was still there smiling and greeting. He had to wait to have knee replacements. Which he later did.
He was an honest, hard working and kind man. I am happy that we have been friends all these years.
Rest In Peace Harold,
David L Bradford

I worked with Harold on third shift for many years. One thing I will miss about him every night when we came in he would always look at me and say there’s rotten Kathy and I would say there’s rotten Herald. He was a good person always always helping someone. I will miss you Harold.
