Service Details
According to family wishes, cremation will be conducted. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 17852 S. River Rd., Three Rivers. Pastor Terry Cropper will officiate.

Jimmy Lee “Gee,” “Geebo” McGee, 68, of Three Rivers, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at Borgess Medical Center.
He was born September 1, 1952 in Brookhaven, Miss., the son of Roosevelt Jr. and Annie Lee (Martin) McGee.
A Three Rivers resident since age 9, Jimmy graduated in 1970 from Three Rivers High School where he played football, baseball, and basketball and ran track.
He retired from Simplex, now Ox Paperboard, in Constantine after 38 years of dedicated employment.
Jimmy loved fishing, watching sports (especially football, basketball and baseball), and being PaPa to his grandchildren.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his son, Craig McGee of Three Rivers; daughter, Aquanetta (Tyrone) Henderson of Acworth, Ga.; grandchildren, Darrius and Addisyn Henderson; former spouse, Catheryn McGee; mother, Annie Lee McGee of Three Rivers; brothers, Kenneth, Troy and Ron McGee; sisters, Elizabeth McGee, Bobbie Mackey and Bonnie McCord.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Roy and Thomas McGee; and granddaughter, Angel Anna Marie Henderson.

To the bereaved family of Jimmy “Gee”, I wish to offer my deepest condolences. in your great loss. O lived in Three Rivers from San. 1973 to April. 1986 on. River Rd. just about 1/2 mile from the McGee. We spent many evenings fishing and playing basketball, which was always great fun and fellowship , plus Gee had a very good sense of humor , which kept everyone laughing. May he rest in the arms of God Almighty is my prayer.
I was totally in disbelief, this was an amazing man, giving, caring, and would put a smile on your face if you was having a bad day, Jimmy you’ll be missed.
I remember my dad would always give Jimmy a tride to work. My dad worked at simplex the papermill. I will always remember Jimmy he was a good person.
My friend and brother I miss you already. I pray God’s peace and comfort on your family I will always remember you. My condolences to the family. I love you my brother.

Im so sorry for your loss to the mcgee family and craig and netta i know oh so well what your going thur after losing my dad 3 years ago i loved jimmy to death he was such a sweetheart like a uncle to me our dads working at simplex together over 25 years they were like best friends he will be greatly missed by all of us i know him and dad the min he entered those gates they starting shooting the breese RIH jimmy
