  8. I had the pleasure of reconnecting with Ken after almost a 20 year gap recently. We had worked together in San Diego years ago and became good friends. We lost touch after job transfers and normal life got in the way, but upon reconnecting it was like there had been no time gap at all. There was no better friend or co-worker than Ken. He was truly a standup guy. May his family find solace in this fact. I am shocked and deeply saddened at his passing.

  14. When Jesus told us to take up our crosses and follow Him we had no idea what those crosses would present. Certainly every one of us did not imagine this would include burying a child and brother. In this present reality may God provide you with strength to carry this cross, patience to endure the pain, and comfort in the resurrection of the dead and the life everlasting. As Ken rests in the arms of Jesus, may we go forward in the peace that passes understanding. God bless you all.
