I met Cecil when I was a young man of about 19 yrs old back in the 80’s. I was on a bowling team at the Mixing Bowl when we met. Cecil was an awesome guy and it was always a good time bowling with Cecil around. Many great memories of him. I later met his son Dean while driving semi for a company in Centerville and Dean was just as fun to hang around with as Cecil was. I didn’t learn of Dean’s passing until just now. Sorry for your loss of these 2 men. I’ve drove semi over the road for years and thought of them often.
He truly had the “right stuff” always met you with that smile, laugh and small town charm that was the essence of Jones which I visited many times in the 70’s and seeing him at bowling always made me smile too sincere condolensces to his family Julie Slentz
I came to know Cecil this past year, as he was on our bowling team at South Lanes Bowling Alley in Three Rivers, MI. Cecil was quite a good bowler, He enjoyed the social aspect of being on a team, and near friends.and family. I was saddened to learn that Cecil had died, but I’m truly grateful for the time Cecil shared with me, which I will never forget. God bless him abundantly. My heart felt condolences to family and friends.
