Mrs. Marek, What a fantastic, unbelievable, block of homes could a kid grow up on than my family living right across the street from you, for 71 years. I know it is inevitable that our lives here on earth have an ending but you gave it one hell of a run! My admiration of your fortitude over all these years- always keeping busy with your various groups, me being able to joke around with you on your driveway, renewing your driver’s license in your nineties-geez! Thank you for giving me a “never give up ” blueprint to follow in my present, senior, years.
God takes only the best!
Lorraine’s unique wit and kind heart… her love for everything she did and unconditional love for everyone she knew made her the one and only “LAM”. Celebrating her 100th Birthday with her is just one of my many cherished memories.
Rest in peace LAM
I had the pleasure of knowing LAM the last few years. I work at the Assisted Living where she lived. She was a wonderful lady who had a quiet personality, but could have such great wit that would come out and just make others laugh. She enjoyed all activities with us, from playing bingo, knowing almost every answer to trivia and coming up with the phrase needed in Wheel of Fortune. We will all miss her kind heart and mischievous look she would give.
We all love you and will miss you!

Activities Arlene
Arlene, you hit the mark with your comments! LAM loved the crafts you created for residents and Lam always knew exactly how she wanted to complete her project! I heard one of her last activities was painting Christmas cookies, working until after 8pm to complete just one more. Thank for your loving kindness and seeing the goodness in each person!
