Obituary Notice
Dorothy Helen Pineau, 96, of Three Rivers, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Optalis Health and Rehab โ Three Rivers.
She was born July 11, 1926 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Laverne and Marguerite Graves.
In 1950, Dorothy married William Pineau. The couple shared 34 years together before his passing in 1984.
She worked at Continental Can for about 20 years, making many friends throughout that time.
A kind and loving person, Dorothy enjoyed Beanie babies, teddy bears, and visiting with friends โ especially those from her two decades at Erie Street Apartments.
Her favorite baseball team was the Detroit Tigers; it was a special treat for her when they announced her 80th birthday on their scoreboard.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her sons, Gary (Gary Madak) Pineau and Michael (Kendal Atkinson) Pineau; daughters, Gloria Weber and Shelley Pineau; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special niece, Glenna Parker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Pineau Sr.; and son, William Pineau Jr.

I have over 30 years of fond memories of your mother at the beauty salon. She was always kind to us and added a lot of good conversation!
