Obituary Notice
Marilyn Ruth Haney, age 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. She was born on September 29, 1936, the daughter of Emil Wagner and Ruth Kent and step daughter to Faye Wagner.
She worked many places over her lifetime and wore many hats. She spent most of her professional career as a nurse for Portage Manor in South Bend, Indiana. Most notable was the time she spent working in the travel industry that afforded her the opportunity to travel the world. Her favorite places being Greece and Amsterdam. Though she loved her travels, Marilyn identified southern Michigan as her home with her family.
Marilyn leaves behind three sons: John (Lynn) E. Haney, Martin A. Haney, and Craig (Orlando Griego) M. Haney; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren and her loving companion, Mugsy.
