Service Details
A public funeral service will take place at Hohner Funeral Home of Three Rivers, Michigan on Monday, December 10, 2018 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Anderson officiating.
Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery following the service.
Obituary Notice
Iva Irene Fikins, age 79, of Three Rivers, Michigan passed away peacefully late on December 4, 2018. She was born in Goshen, Indiana the daughter of Harry and Grace (Phillips) Kern
She loved country music, gardening, fishing, embroidery, and spending time with her family.
Iva is preceded in her passing by her parents; son: Roger Firkins; daughter: Toni Firkins; brothers: William Miles, Wayne Miles, Willard Miles, Melvin Kern, and Rondell Kern; and sister: Wilma (Nisley) Miles and Dorthy (Scott) Kern.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughters: Diana Walker of Geneva, Alabama, Bonnie (Lonnie) Belt of Popular Bluff, Missouri, and Wanda (Robert) Haley of Three Rivers, Michigan; brothers: Bob Kern of Idaho, Marlon Kern of White Pigeon, Michigan, James Kern of Three Rivers, Michigan; Eighteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial donations made in Iva’s memory may be made out to The Doris Day Animal League. Envelopes are available at Hohner Funeral Home.
