Obituary Notice

Patricia Rae Brundige, 82, of Three Rivers, Michigan, passed away on July 1, 2025, in Three Rivers, surrounded by loving family and friends. Pat was born September 1, 1942, in Three Rivers, Michigan, the daughter of Raymond and Jeanette (Prange) Dunn.

Pat graduated from Three Rivers High School and continued her education at Western Michigan University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She began her professional career at Constantine High School, teaching English and serving as yearbook editor. Not content with just teaching, Pat found a second career that piqued her interest when she went to work for Vision Quest, which offered a new approach to addressing gang and inner city youth violence in larger cities. Pat wanted to be a part of improving outcomes for inner city youth and worked in Pennsylvania for several years.

Pat’s third career was at Hope Network, where she joined the non-profit to work with individuals with disabilities. She helped develop many programs at Hope that advocated for independence and employment throughout Michigan. Her good friend and co-worker Jill stated that she was an adamant and ferocious champion of those who were underserved in today’s society.

Pat enjoyed living on the family farm, horseback riding, and raising sheep. She loved her flower gardens and trips to every garden nursery she could find.

She will be missed not just by family but by the many friendships she made along the way, including her three daughters: Shelley (Marty) Wegner of Freeland, Michigan; Jill Brundige of Salem, Missouri; and Lorrie Brundige of Three Rivers. She is also survived by grandchildren Emily (Brendon) Phelan, Brent Wegner, and Eric Wegner; great-grandchildren, Bennett and Baker Phelan; one brother, Mike (Cathy) Dunn of Texas; niece, Jenny (Mitch) Hutchinson of Florida; and friends Jill and Mark Moerland, Elaine Waddel, Larry (Karen) Hale, and Leslie Wolfe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Jeanette (Prange) Dunn.
