Service Details
His family will receive friends Friday, August 1, 2025 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. A funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home with Pastor Lewis E. Warr and Pastor James E. Ingram officiating. He will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
Obituary Notice
Lewis Leroy Warr, 95, of Three Rivers, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born May 20, 1930 in Memphis, Tenn., the son of Aultee and Carrie B. (Macklin) Warr.
Leroy served his country in the United States Marine Corps as a crash crewman.
On May 22, 1954, he married Hattie C. Williams. Together, they enjoyed bowling and cooking.
Leroy worked as a journeyman for 26 ½ years at General Motors in Kalamazoo. He liked building things at work.
He was kind, giving, and liked to dress up.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife, Hattie C. Warr; five children; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two children, Vincent Warr and Vanessa A. (Payne) Warr.
