Obituary Notice

Kenneth Ray “Kennyray” Griffin, 34, of Three Rivers, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025 while doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle, “Bobber.”

He was born November 9, 1990 in LaGrange, Ind., the son of Kenneth and Mollie (Jackson) Griffin.

From the beginning Kenny was very adventurous, enjoying bicycles, dirt, and playing in the woods. As he grew, he traded in his bicycle for motorcycles.

He attended Three Rivers schools; he later earned his GED and was employed at TH Plastics in Mendon.

Kenny had so many friends – when he made a friend, he kept a friend. He had the biggest heart, and if he could help someone, he would. Many of his friends recalled him being there for them at their darkest times.

He loved his family, especially his daughter, Addilyn “Adderdo,” who was his world.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his father, Anthony Sove; mother, Mollie Burson; step-father, T.J. Burson; daughter, Addilyn Griffin; her mother, Mary Grimm; brothers, Brett Sove and Anthony Sove; sisters, Hailey Shingledecker and Makayla Griffin; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Janice Merhman.

Additional Information

Donations in Kenny’s memory may be directed to his family in care of Mollie Burson. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

    • Kenny Ray is my cousin, I haven’t seen him since we were young. He was always very kind and made me laugh non-stop. I loved being around him and my other cousins. I feel absolutely blessed to have had the privilege to know him, but also absolutely horrible that we lost touch and now will not have the opportunity again until I see him in heaven. I will always love Kenny Ray, my Aunt Mollie, my Cousin’s Makayla, Hailey, Brett, and Anthony. I will continue praying for you all and Addilyn. I am very sorry for my absence and your loss of a beautiful soul.
