In accordance with family wishes, cremation will be conducted. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, February 6, 2026 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the Fellowship Church gym, 4200 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon.
Obituary Notice
Sherry Lynn Leonard, 73, of Three Rivers, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 11, 1952 in Muskegon, the daughter of George M. and Norma Jean (Moseley) Leonard, and graduated from Orchard View High School with the Class of 1971.
Sherry worked various jobs in Muskegon, but her favorite was Sorrento’s Pizza.
She loved to cook; her barbecue chicken and pineapple upside down cakes were a hit with family and friends. She also enjoyed laughing, playing bingo, canasta, and cribbage, as well as collecting Beanie Babies and M&M trinkets.
A true people person, Sherry loved her family and her friends, as well as her critters.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her son, George Leonard (Brittany Richter); daughter, Amber Leonard; grandchildren, Chloe Leonard, Shyanna Dollins, James Butcher, and Gracie Leonard; great-grandchildren, Logan, Liam, Luna, and Lakin; sister, Melissa (Bob) Chasseur.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Leonard and Norma Jean Leonard-Doom; brother, Clyde (Arnita) Leonard; and sister, Susan Chaffee.
