Service Details

Her family will receive friends Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with visitation an hour prior. Pastor Jamey Smith and Pastor Dan Lane will officiate services. A private committal service will follow in Vicksburg Cemetery.

Obituary Notice

Patricia Ann “Patty” Adams of Three Rivers passed away Monday, April 13, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family, just a few days shy of her 100th birthday.

She was born April 29, 1926 at home in Moorepark, the daughter of Wm. Russell “Jim” and Clelia (McKain) Bingman, and graduated from Three Rivers High School where she participated in the Girl Reserves and girls’ sports.

Patty attended Western State Teachers College, now Western Michigan University.

On June 29, 1946 she married Harry Earl Adams Jr., and they shared a long and happy marriage prior to his passing on Nov. 1, 2006. Together, they loved to travel, golf, and spend time with friends and family.

In a perfect job setup for “Chatty Patty,” she spent 30 years as a sales merchandiser for Peter Eckrich Meat Co., Country Fresh Dairy Co., County Line Cheese, and Coca-Cola Co.

She was a dedicated member of the First United Methodist Church of Three Rivers, participating in its Esther Ruth Circle, choir, and bell choir. She was a past president and a lifetime member of the United Methodist Women, and was a member of the Three Rivers Hospital Auxiliary and Red Hat Society.

Patty loved to play the saxophone and was an alumni community band member. She thrived on being around people, and loved writing notes and cards to her friends.

Her family was very important to her and she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her son, David (Angie) Adams; grandchildren, Esther (Jeremy Young) Adams, Gabriel (Holly) Adams, and Daniel (Kylee) Adams; great-grandchildren, Emma (Anthony) Neal, John David (Loretta Johnloz) Conroy, Alec (Lena Villarreal) Robinson, Isaac and Anabele Adams, Ella, Owen, and David Adams, and Gabriel Young; great-great-grandchildren, Holland, Duke, Harry, and Vincent.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry “Whitey” Adams; and newborn son, Daniel Adams.

Additional Information

Donations in Patty’s memory may be directed to Centrica Care Navigators or the Three Rivers Food Site. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

  1. My dear friend Patty, i will truly miss you. We.go back a long ways. Fisher lake was our home. We could sure tell the stories . Lol you are going tp be busy talking to all your family. Tell my mom and nona i miss them andc lovebthem see you.again someday

  2. Grandma Pat…what a lady. Whenever she came in our store she knew every customer’s background that was in the store before they left. I’m sure heaven will never be the same now that she is chatting with everyone she knows. May she be healthy now as she hugs her family, freinds and meets new friends.
    We will always remember that yellow roses were her favorite flower.

  3. So very sorry to hear of Grandma Pat’s passing…I was just thinking of her the other day remembering we celebrated her 99th birthday last spring and wondering if another celebration was in the works:( She was a beautiful soul and will be missed by so many💗💗💗

    • My friend patty how i will miss you. Many years we have spent together with the Warner sisters ofvfisher lake. We could sure share lots of stories. Tell all our friens hello we.will meet.again someday. Bless you love you.
