In accordance with family wishes, cremation will be conducted; she will be laid to rest in Prairie River Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Obituary Notice
Vera Mae Fletcher, 95, of Three Rivers, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2026 at The Orchards at Three Rivers.
She was born January 3, 1931 in Petersburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Harold and Mabel (Flickinger) Burkey.
On September 30, 1956, Vera married Walter Fletcher Sr. They enjoyed family dinners every Sunday afternoon with their children and grandchildren.
Remaining to cherish her memory are four sons and one daughter: Frank (Nancy) Iannarelli, Edward (Brenda) Iannarelli, Terry (Joyce) Iannarelli, Nancy (David) Shull, and Walter (Mary) Fletcher Jr; 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, three sisters, and one brother.

I will always cherish the happy memory of seeing her at Culvers. She was a great mother and a good friend to my mom.
I had the pleasure of caring for Vera at the nursing home. She was a delight and will be missed. Prayers to the family.
