A memorial service to celebrate Cerena’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Moorepark Community Church, 55701 Wilbur Rd., Three Rivers, MI 49093 with Pastor Bud Granger and Pastor Paul Pierucki officiating. Visitation will be held an hour prior to memorial services.

Obituary Notice

Cerena Michelle Kelley, 53, of Three Rivers passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born on March 25, 1968 the daughter of Parris and Karen (Weeks) Van Noty.

On August 22, 2008 Cerena was united in marriage to Jimmy Kelley. Together she and her husband were faithful members of Moorepark Community Church where she enjoyed Bible Study. She was employed for eleven years at Oasis Restaurant in Three Rivers. Cerena enjoyed gardening, sewing, and listening to country music. She cherished time surrounded by her family and good conversation. She also enjoyed reading her Bible as Jesus was a special part of her life.

Cerena leaves to cherish her memory husband, Jimmy Kelley; daughter, Reann Johnson; sons, Nathan (Morgan) and Brody Johnson; step daughters, Melissa (Justin) Crook, Stephanie (Matt) Smith, Jennifer Kelley; brother; James Van Noty; sister, Sandra Gunnison; grandchildren, Kennedy and Cooper Johnson, Kamira Johnson, Chase and Phoenix Ross, and Liam Kelley.

Additional Information

Memorial donations may be directed to Moorepark Community Church. Envelopes will be available at the church and Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

I have known Cerena every since high school, she was like a sister to me, although I didn’t see much over the last few years, I would occasionally run into her here and there, I am sorry for the loss of Cerena, my deepest sympathy goes out to here entire family, her smile and up beat personality and positive attitude will be missed, until we meet again, Rest In Peace.

  5. I am so sorry for you guises loss, Kelly was such a sweet nice lady. I can remember meeting her years ago with Nate. She has always been the sweetest woman I’m sure glad I got to enjoy the past few weeks with her. Talking with her and enjoying her sweet little voice. Rest in peace Kelly you will be truly missed❤️🙏🏼

    • Cerena is an amazing person with a generous heart. Though she is apart from us now, she is more alive than any of us. Her impact will be felt for generations. She is truly missed but we will soon meet again.
