In accordance with family wishes, cremation will be conducted; a celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Three Rivers Union Hall, 15802 Hoffman Road.

Obituary Notice

Clifford Michael Smith, 56, of Three Rivers, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born August 28, 1968 in Ionia, the son of Floyd M. and Dulcye M. (Piotrowski) Smith, and graduated from Whitehall High School with the Class of 1986.

Clifford served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

He worked at American Axle & Manufacturing. 

On March 24, 2017, Clifford married Maribel Tindoc Dionglay.

Surviving are his wife, Maribel Dionglay Smith; children, Michael Dean, Sarah Marie, Jacob Russell, Kameron John Charles; sisters, Melodye Razmus (Chris), Valary Detzler (Chuck), Becky Houdek (Ed); brothers, Randy, Floyd Jr. (Casey); many nieces and nephews as well as grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Dulcye.

  1. This took a chunk out of my heart when I heard. Cliff was my cousin,my boss at Kmart and my friend growing up. We lost touch over the years. I will always remember him for his love of country. The day after Desert Storm start Cliff was seen polishing his boots,ever though he had already served his time and was discharged. He said if they called him back up he would be ready.That was the Marine in him. I’m proud to say he was family. Rest in Peace Marine,Husband, Father,Brother and Cousin. Stand down and rest easy we got it from here. Love You Cuz
