Dave was a good friend of mine in high-school and into our 20’s. Even though I was from Constantine, we attended the same high-school youth group at Three Rivers Bible Church. I had a huge crush on Dave! I remember his silly sense of humor – it was so infectious. Dave’s nickname in youth group was “Twiggy”, because he was tall and skinny. I remember playing charades with him and his brother-in-law, Jack. They just stood in front of us and did nothing. And then Jack did a ‘chopping motion with his hands. We all burst out laughing! They were “Jack and The Beanstalk”!!!
Dave I will miss you, dear friend. But, I believe we will see each other again with Jesus!
Jack, I was unaware of Priscilla’s passing. My deepest condolences. And now Dave.
I have the fondest memories of all of you. Priscilla was the kindest, sweetest, most gentle person. She loved you so much, and she knew that she was loved by you. I can still hear her cute giggle! She was delighted by life, and was a delight to many of us. God bless you, Jack.
I’m not going to leave my phone number or email here. But I am on Facebook, if you care to look me up. My husband Tony and I live in Estero Florida (for nearly 20 years). I tried several times, over the years, to find Dave, to reconnect. But was unsuccessful…so sad now. I hope you are feeling God’s love and comfort now more than ever. Love, Peg
David was a grandfather to our granddaughter and through that we became friends. Dave was a man with a huge heart always ready to give and help. He is missed!
In the late 70’s and early 80’s I worked with/for David at the Holiday Inn is Sturgis, MI. Although he was a few years older we also shared some fun times outside of work. Sorry to hear of his passing but I’m glad I knew him.
I worked with Dave for many years in Kalamazoo prior to his retirement. I remember his good sense of humor and generous heart if someone was in need.
My condolences go out to his family. Rest in peace Dave.
Sending our deepest sympathies.
