In accordance with family wishes, cremation will be conducted; a graveside service will be held at Prairie River Cemetery at a later date.
Obituary Notice
Erma Louise Schippers, 91, of Three Rivers, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025 at her home.
She was born January 16, 1934, in Fabius Township, the daughter of Clyde A. and Flossie M. (Schmidtendorf) Tase, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1952.
Erma worked as a customer service representative for Rifenberg Insurance Company of Three Rivers where she eventually retired after 30 plus years. She loved to make quilts and to can fruits and vegetables. Erma cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Remaining to cherish her memory are two daughters, Linda Gagan of Bullhead City, AZ and Diane (Steve) Driskel of Centreville; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six-great-great-grandchildren; brother, Warren (Phyllis) Tase.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Neva Tase; brother, Willard Tase; great-grandson, Tyee Fergison; son-in-law, Joseph Gagan.

Donations in Erma’s memory may be directed to Erma’s family c/o Diane Driskel. Envelopes will also be available at Hohner Funeral Home.

Diane and Erika, we are thinking of you and your family. What a great life for your mother, grandmother. We may have lost touch but you’re still in our thoughts and prayers. I will let mom and Guy know, mom may not remember but all in all she does well.
