A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 215 N. Main St., Three Rivers.
Obituary Notice
Franklin Stewart Sr., 73, of Three Rivers, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Ascension Borgess Hospital.
He was born July 6, 1949 in Deep Water, West Virginia, the son of Charles H. and Dorothy (Pickens) Stewart.
A Vietnam veteran, Frank was very proud of his service as a rifleman in the United States Marine Corps from 1968-1974.
He was employed as a semi truck driver for many years, and loved to collect cars.
Remaining to cherish Frank’s memory are his children, Anita Stewart’McCord (Butch McCord) of Cleveland, Ohio, Frank Stewart Jr. (fiancée Amy Spiezio) of Newton Falls, Ohio, Tina Stewart of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mary Stewart (Greenwood Lewis) of Cleveland, Ohio; grandchildren, Brian Stewart, Briana Stewart’Wilson (Brandon Wilson Sr.), Camron Jewel Stewart, Bianca Montes, Shonise Shannon, Damarcus Shannon, Vondell McCall Jr., Gabrielle Stewart, Maliah Stewart’Martin, and Maliyah Lewis; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Iiana, Abel, Kaija, Zaylem, Brian Jr., Eric, Octavia, Brandon Jr., Giyona, Rhealynn, Anna, Serena, Sebastian, Zamariyon, Kordell, Amari, Zayleiana, Brielle, and Brandon Jr.; the mother of his children, Mary Benefiel; siblings, Clarence Stewart, Clinton (Tina) Stewart, Sandy O’Boyle, Dorothy Stewart, and Roger Stewart; brother-in-law, Bud McElwain.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Stewart, in 2017; his sister, Phyllis McElwain; and his sister-in-law, Peggy Stewart.
