Obituary Notice

John Paul Warmack, 66, of Three Rivers, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025 at his home.

He was born May 2, 1959 in Parkville, the son of William and Hazel (Chitwood) Warmack, and attended Three Rivers schools, later earning his GED.

A general laborer at Parma Tube, John was a hard worker who passed on his work ethic to his children.

On April 28, 1990 he married Brenda Lee Johnson, to whom he had been introduced by a mutual friend. Together they loved playing euchre and going to the beach.

Family was everything to John, and he made sure they had good experiences as a family whether at home playing Uno, Skip-Bo or board games, or away at Cedar Point or Six Flags. He loved doing family cookouts, with brats and burgers his favorite food to grill.

A top-notch gardener with a green thumb, he took pride in keeping his lawn and plants immaculate.

Kind, loving, humorous, and devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren, John was the best father and grandfather one could ask for.

He was a hero to many – he was loved and will be missed by everyone.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda Warmack; son, Garland (Heather) Johnson; daughters, Tonia Warmack and Dawn Warmack; grandchildren, Payton Johnson, Marissa Johnson, Dayton Bennett, and Andrew Carnegie; several brothers, sisters, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by three daughters, Mandy Lin Johnson, Monica Joy Bennett, and Deborah Ann Warmack.

  1. Dear family,
Many hugs to you all. John was a wonderful person and my cousin. I have lots of memories with all of us kids playing together. Hot summer days playing frozen tag or hide and seek, usually from the smaller ones. He was funny and considerate of others and I will always see him as Johnny. What a happy reunion with all his loved ones in Heaven.

  2. Dawn, your dad was a great leader in your community … instilling so many magnificent traits in all who knew him. John 12:24 states, I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives (NIV).

He may be gone from this life, but just look around, in time you will see him again … sprouting up in each of you. May our God bless and continue to strengthen you. 🙏❤️🫂

  3. I’ll miss you forever, dad. I knew this day would eventually come but this was just way too soon. Thank you for everything and for being the best father a daughter could’ve had.
