In accordance with Julie’s and her family’s wishes, cremation will be conducted and a celebration of Julie’s life will be held at a later date.

Obituary Notice

Julie Delynn Lint, age 53, of Sturgis, Michigan, passed away Friday morning, December 12, 2025, while being comforted by the love of her family.

Julie was born on August 18, 1972, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the beloved daughter of the late Michael E. Mason and Betsy M. (Frumau) Thompson. With the passing of her Dad at the young age of 6, she was raised by her mother and loving step father Terry J. Thompson.

She graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1990. Later exploring her educational interests for accounting and business by attending both KVCC and Glen Oaks Community College throughout various times of her life.

She proudly held many jobs throughout her life, and was well known for her strong work ethic and unending determination. She spent many years working as a bank teller for Kalsee Credit Union, and later ECCU. Julie took pride in successfully creating two businesses, “Julie’s Jules Daycare” and “Dedicated Deliveries” that she operated with friends and family. Her energetic spunk and compassion for her community will be missed dearly.

Family meant everything to Julie. Blessed with 3 cherished children, her love for them remains timeless. She was a devoted mother, and an adoring grandmother to 4 beautiful granddaughters. The truest love of her life was her husband, whom she met in her youth and happily married on March 17th, 2010. Together they raised many fur babies. Currently her service dog Otis (7), and her newest addition Manson (1). She will be met in Heaven by her beloved duo, Jasmine and Mallory.

Julie enjoyed many things, such as family game night playing cards, especially poker, and board games, her favorite being Monopoly. She loved partaking in a variety of activities. From movie nights, floats down the river, casino trips, or simply going for a drive, Julie brought joy and laughter to all those around her.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her father, Terry Thompson; husband, Michael George-Guy Lint; daughters, Kandace (Eric) Jackson and Stephanie (D.J.) VanOrden; son, Kyle Stefanich; grandchildren, Aubry May, Aurora Shay Lynn, Aundraya Kay, and Adalynn Faye; along with many cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Her dad, Michael Eugene Mason; mom, Betsy Mary Thompson.

She has continued to help others even after her passing by being a successful organ donor, along with many other gifts she will provide to those in need through the Gift of Life.
