Service Details
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 4th, 2019 at Trinity Missionary Church, 64890 Business U.S. 131, Constantine, MI. 49042 with Pastor Terry Neumayer officiating.
Interment will be held in Mt. Everest Cemetery, Kalamazoo, MI. following services and luncheon.
Obituary Notice
Mr. Kenneth Leroy Horton, age 81, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, Oct. 29 th , 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 10, 1938 in Kalamazoo, MI. to the late Owen and Thelma (Royale) Horton. Mr. Horton served his country in the U.S. Army from 1959 until the time of his honorable discharge in 1962. Ken was an active leader in Boy Scouts, a member of the Mount Herman #24 Masonic Lodge, member of Corinthian #123 Order of the Eastern Star, former member of the Portage Eagles and loved to camp up north with his family, play guitar, and spend time with those he loved. Ken faithfully served and attended Trinity Missionary Church in Constantine. He worked for Gibson Guitar and (Fetzer) Cable Vision for a majority of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Owen Horton Sr.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife of 28 years Janice (Bassett) Horton, his son Christopher (Jennifer) Horton, two step-sons, Chad and Todd Clardy; one brother William Horton, of Seattle, WA.; one sister Marilyn (Royce) Miller, of South Bend, IN.; grandchildren, Lauren Horton, Keira, and Valene Moreno; Danielle and Hailey Clardy, Sydney and Logan Clardy.

Memorials may be donated to Southern Care Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Envelopes available at Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
