Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of a celebration of Lamont’s life at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Obituary Notice
Lamont William Wheeler, age 55, of Three Rivers, passed away suddenly on June 16, 2019 at his home. He was born in Jackson, Michigan on Nov. 14, 1963 the son of Lenny and Kolleen (Adams) Wheeler.
Mr. Wheeler has been a long time resident of Three Rivers and worked diligently for Pine View Golf Course as a maintenance and grounds employee. Lamont loved music, especially when played loud, watching Dirt Bike Races, Bon Fires and Grilling for family and friends, and especially his children and grandchildren.
Lamont was preceded in death by one sister, Charmane Reyes.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, two beloved daughters, Chelsey Avery, of Battle Creek, and Brittany Haigh, of Three Rivers; a dear friend, Lisa Miller; seven beloved grandchildren, Jayden Haigh, Braxten Haigh, Carlianna Avery, Graycen Haigh, Maizen Haigh, Coramarie Avery, and Riverlen Haigh; Special companion, Noreen “Renie” Sears; Two brothers, Ereck and Dawayne Wheeler; half-brother, Scott Destadeo; half-sister, Theresa Dekarske; step-dad, Charles “Chuck” Gilliland; Several aunts, uncles, and nieces and nephews also survive.

I am so sorry about Lamont he was truly the best dad papa and friend
It breaks my heart to hear of his passing he will surely be missed by all and I will always remember spending the many hillbilly Christmases with him and all the laughs we’ve shared wouldn’t of been that much fun without him and miahs crazy shenanigans god bless you Lamont until we all meet again love ya all
