Obituary Notice

Larry Lee Quinn, 60, of Three Rivers, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Beacon Kalamazoo surrounded by his loving family.

He was born December 21, 1964 in Three Rivers, the son of Earlin and Violet (Smith) Quinn, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1983.

Larry most recently worked at American Axle but held many job titles throughout his life. No matter the position, he was known for his strong work ethic and steady dedication. What he cherished most about every role was the opportunity to be with people and animals, both of which brought him a deep sense of connection and joy. Larry easily made friends no matter the situation, and to him, no one was ever a stranger.

On October 25, 1996, he married Karen Soule. They shared 29 wonderful years of marriage and together they raised three daughters and cared for many cherished pets. Rarely apart, they built a life rooted in love and shared experiences. They especially enjoyed being outdoors—whether hunting, fishing, camping, or riding horses. Family was at the center of everything they did, and their happiest moments were those spent together, surrounded by loved ones and the beauty of nature.

Among Larry’s most treasured memories were the moments he first held each of his daughters in his arms. He also loved the playful times spent dancing around the house with his beloved wife, often to the embarrassment and laughter of their children. Being a husband and father brought him immeasurable joy, and those milestones remained some of the happiest and most meaningful times of his life.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife, Karen Quinn; daughters, Laren (Michael) Kelley and Mary (Austin) Lemacks; grandchildren, Kyleigh (Drew) Stamper, Logan, Karen, Larry, and Izayah Watson, Mika and Iris Kelley, Bentley, Silas, Athen, and Rebel Criddle, Emmet and Benjamin Lemacks; sister, Penny (Michael) Hackenberg; nephew, Landon (Taylor) Hackenberg; niece, Brandy (Caleb) McCarroll; and many, many more.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Quinn; and daughter, Tamara Watson.

  1. Beautifully expressed! That’s the Larry that I knew and grew up with. We will miss his laughter and shenanigans that he never failed to express wherever he was at. May God’s love, peace and comfort surround all his friends, family and loved ones. Forever in my heart dear friend/brother. To say I’m going to miss you can’t even begin to adequately express how I’m feeling right now. Until we see each other again…..❤️💔
