Service Details
Visitation will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Three Rivers Bible Church, 220 N. Erie St., with Pastor Jeff Homan officiating. He will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
Obituary Notice
LaVerne Sylvester Webster, 81, of Three Rivers, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born November 28, 1941 in Battle Creek, the son of Rena Webster.
LaVerne worked as a machine repairman at Hydra-Matic, later American Axle & Manufacturing.
He was an active member of Three Rivers Bible Church who loved golf, his family, and his friends.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his sons, Rudolf (Lisa) Dittner, Timothy (Vicky) Dittner, Richard “Dick” (Kathy) Dittner, and Jeffrey (Janet) Webster; daughters, Judith (Mark) Stafford, Teresa Brackett, and Vicki Graham; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Muriel Webster, whom he married on August 3, 1968.

Prayers and I will miss you Laverne you were a happy peaceful man. I am sorry for your loss vicki Graham and Vanessa Graham and Liam and Hannah and your whole family my prayers are with your family. Your grandpa was a blessing and I am so glad I got to know and how he was a gentle kind man.
