The family will receive friends to celebrate Leah’s life from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Hohner Funeral Home, Three Rivers.

  

Obituary Notice

Leah Ann Wilson, age 34, of Three Rivers passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, March 5, 2020.  She was born on November 13, 1985 in Coldwater, MI the daughter of Lloyd Wilson and Cynthia Dillon.

Leah was beloved by all who knew her. She was very active in the Special Olympics and her work at Main Street Café, where she made many lasting friendships and was a bright light in everyone’s day.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her parents, Lloyd Wilson and Cynthia Dillon; grandmother, Annabele Cole; sisters, Jessica Homan, Ashley Fuller, and Shaylah Gebbink; nieces and nephews, Dylan Preston, Ethan Weatherwax, Mackenzie Preston, Hagen Torres, Donovan Wilson, and Danny Stewart.

Additional Information

Memorial donations may be directed to Special Olympics Area 18.  Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

  1. Leah was my cousin in law but she will forever be my cousin. I know we haven’t seen each other in years and kept little communication you still were one of the best cousins to ever hangout with this. R.I.P. Leah and give grandma a kiss for me love you so much and I will never forget you

  2. Dear Sweet Leah, what a Beautiful Brite Shining Star you are. I watched you grow up for a few years when you were my neighbor. You and your sisters would always say hi to me when you were on walks around the block. We met again at Centsible Treasures, where we worked together, You were a True Joy to work with.   4. I am a good friend of Leah’s i would usually either stay the night at her house or she would come stay the night with me we did special Olympics together..she will always be in my heart..i miss the good times we had together..

I’m at Leah s Rivers I still center and we came close friends I’ve known her family her sister and her mom and her niece and nephew hello grandmother and Grandpa I went to her birthday party I skated with her I hanged out with her I spend the night at her place ball never forget that we always went to special Olympics together she’s always have been part of me since day one I can’t get over it but at least she’s not suffering it’s hard to expect this happen she’s always she always cared about me she always always there when I need her I’m best friend patty

Hi my name is Michael Veasy I knew Leah from when I met her from three Rivers high school and three Rivers life skills center as well as being her boyfriend and she was a very good friend to me and help me out when I was in need of a girlfriend to go out with and did not have one at the time and got the chance to go over to her house I will miss her very much and will be wishing the family and friends and everyone prayers from me and my church of first baptist church of flat rock Michigan Michael Veasy.
