Service Details
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of services beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Anderson officiating.
Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Three Rivers.
Obituary Notice
Marilyn Joyce Blasius, age 83, of Three Rivers, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family at her side. She was born in Comstock Twp., Kalamazoo on Oct. 12, 1935 the daughter of the late William and Jennie (Lord) Newburry.
Marilyn has been a long time resident of Three Rivers. On July 29th, 1972 she was united in marriage to Mr. Richard Blasius. Marilyn enjoyed knitting, crocheting, listening to Elvis, and was a regular at the Dairy Bar enjoying time with her friends. Her true love and passion was taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Blasius was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Jimmy Collard, and several brothers and sisters.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, Richard Blasius, of Three Rivers; two daughters, Luella (David) Aronson, and Tina (Dale) Bickings, both of Three Rivers; one son, Doug (Patricia) Collard, of Eaton Rapids; one sister, Dorothy Coulter, of Kentwood, MI. Six beloved grandchildren, Brandi, Kyle, Adam, Joe, Dalton, and Darrien; as well as five great-grandchildren.
