Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St, Three Rivers, MI 49093 with Pastor Bob Anderson officiating. He will be laid to rest in Moorepark Cemetery.

Obituary Notice

Mark “Little Mark” Arthur Roberts, 60, of Three Rivers, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

He was born on December 6, 1960, in Sturgis, the son of Arthur George “Sam” Roberts Jr. and Catherine Louise “Kay” (Stump) Roberts.

Mark worked in the construction industry and was a very talented woodworker. He enjoyed being in the outdoors – camping, fishing, hunting, kayaking, bonfires – as well as antiquing. He loved his animals, music and family.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife, Lanette (McClain) Roberts, whom he married November 17, 2006; daughter, Kristina McLaughlin; stepsons, Jared McClain and Zachary (Lisa) McClain; grandchildren, Kaylee, Aalyson, Landen, Benjamin, Hayden and Brixlee; his father, Sam Roberts Jr; brother, Art (Jenny) Roberts; sisters, Angela (David) Beegle and Molly (Jim) Kochan; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Roberts, and by his sister, Renee Granzotto.

Additional Information

Donations in Mark’s memory may be made to his family in care of Lanette Roberts. Envelopes are available at the funeral home in care of Mark’s arrangements.

  1. I have countless fond memories of spending time with Little Mark out on the jobsite building and remodeling houses. We spent a lot of time together doing what we both loved doing. I feel like a legend has crossed over to the other side. God bless Lanette and family. Mark left us to soon. I will miss him.

The best memories of him talking about his antiques and how much he loves you. He surely was proud of his overloaded truck of antiques on his Florida adventures. Many hugs. Love you Aunt Tyke.

    How very heartbreaking this news has been. I know I have over fifty years of memories with my Roberts family. I cherish them. I love this family more than my words could ever express.

  9. Rest in peace Mark, this happened way too soon. Mark was a hard working, honest man. He used to come into my army surplus store and I always enjoyed visiting with him. Condolences to his family, he will be missed.

  10. Mark was quite a guy! Talented carpenter, outdoorsman, and dedicated to antiquing. He loved his family, nature, and his animals. He had a natural ability to meet people and made friends wherever he would go. Mark was a good brother and friend. I will miss him dearly and cherish the fond memories of him always. ❤ Rest in Peace brother.

  11. I will truly miss Mark. He was a true friend and a very talented carpenter and roofer. He did the job one time and did it right. He accomplished many jobs for me. This just isn’t right…

    • Dear Lanette and family, words cannot begin express the way we grieve for you with the loss of Mark. You were and always will be in our hearts and prayers. We cherish the times that we all spent together. Mark was like a brother to me ,through good times and bad. Growing up together we had so many wonderful times, fishing hunting,camping,drag racing cars,working and just hanging out. I can’t believe he is gone so soon from us. I loved him so much and will miss him greatly. I remember whenever we were doing something fun or enjoyable and it was time end, Mark would always say, (let’s stay a little longer, what’s another hour or two in a lifetime).
