Obituary Notice
Matthew Jason Gregory went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, March 11, 2024.
Matt was born November 19, 1982, to Richard and Dianna (Frye) Gregory in Sturgis Michigan. He graduated from Centreville High School in 2001. In 2014 He married the love of his life Katie (Smith) Gregory who survives him.
Left to Cherish his memory are his wife, daughters Haven and Annalynn. His Parents, brothers David (Heather) Gregory, Jon (Holly) Gregory, nieces Haley (Josh) Johnloz, Autumn Johnloz, Avery Smith, nephews Daniel Frye, Jonny, Harrison, and Benson Gregory, Carson Johnloz, Colton, Graham, and Wyatt Smith. In laws Christopher and Mary Smith, Brothers-in-law Joshua (Kelsey) Smith, Thomas (Shelby) Smith, Katie and Matt’s grandma Veleta Smith (Granny), Matt is also leaving many close friends and family.
Matt was a LOVER of all things outdoors and loved sharing his love of the outdoors with his daughter Haven sharing his hunting experiences and respect for the animal. There was only one place you could find Matt on November 15th at any time of day. Matt was One of a Kind, anyone that knew him knew he would be the first person to be there if needed. One of the best memories of Matt is him hunting with his brothers and dad, meeting at mom’s house for lunch after and talking about “the one that got away.”
Seeing him grow as a father and husband was a privilege to witness, Matt loved nothing more than his wife and daughters, he loved with his whole heart, he was compassionate and loving to everyone he knew.
Matt was an active member of Verse X Verse Church where he was a member of the men’s bible study. Matt loved the Lord and expressed it freely to anyone that wanted to hear the word.
