Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers with Pastor Derl Keefer officiating.
Obituary Notice
Patricia Gail Purvis, 82, of Three Rivers, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at Optalis Health and Rehab. She was born September 9, 1941 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Ernest Purvis and Virginia (Swagger) Johnson, and grew up at Coldwater State Home until its closing, moving in with family afterwards.
She loved arts and crafts and coloring pictures for friends and family. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed everything he put out. She loved to go out to eat and drink margaritas. She was a very social person who made friends wherever she went. She had a group of friends in the nursing home who became family to her. She had a fiery spirit and loved her family to infinity and beyond. She enjoyed spending time with her great-niece Mindy and her cats. She was a sweet person who loved everybody she met and always managed to get a stuffed animal from everyone.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her great-niece, Mindy Miller (Brian Jackson); great-nephew, Kyle Miller and great-great-nephew and niece, Jayden Miller and Josalyn Vanbeck. Niece, Elizabeth Henschel (James Pack); Niece, Cristy Burza; Nephew, Bob Bennett (Roxanne); Nephew, Dean Sprague (Irma); Niece, Debbie Finkbeiner (Kent) and many great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Marilyn Sprague; brother-in-law, George Sprague; sister, Dolores Eichenauer and brother-in-law, Ike Eichenauer; nephew, Mike Sprague, nephew, Rusty Eichenauer and nephew-in-law, Ray Burza.

Donations in Patricia’s memory may be directed to the charity of your choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

Aunt Patty 😭 was a great woman. She had a way to make you laugh. She had a big heart ❤️ I thought of Aunt Patty as a grandmother, she was absolutely delighted one afternoon 😊 I painted her nails 💅 she loved being pampered. She may be gone but she will forever hold a place in my heart ❤️🥀🐘
