Cousi Ron and I had many fun times on the big side yard on 15th st. Either base ball or just playing catch. Their were many family picknics with time to play or get in trouble at the waters edge or pick on our younger cousins. Ron and I were also. On family trips up north having fun along the Trout streams or trying to fish. Over the years we visited and talked about family history. Ron and Char superiority with a visit to California in a gated community. We all Wil miss your smiling face Ron.

Growing up outside Michigan has had its downsides when it comes to getting to know members of my extended family. And sadly, I really never got to know Ron. My older brothers have fond memories of playing baseball with Ron on the side yard of aunt Louis’s apartment and of course I saw pictures of my handsome cousin and heard terrific stories about him from my Aunt Louise and Jan. Char – thank you for sharing such a beautiful obituary that allowed me to get to know Ron even better.. I feel very honored to have been related to such a loving, caring person who was so devoted to his family and community.
Much love from me and the rest of your West Coast family. Kathy
So sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. He was well thought of by my parents. They enjoyed sharing business stories, the ups and downs, of downtown Constantine. I remember when Trent was born . So many memories of the Fullriede family come to mind too. Hugs to you all.
Wonderful person, beloved by the community. My sympathies to the family
Cousin Carol
Ron you’re the sibling I never had, but you were part of my foundation.
My first and best Babysitter a cousin could ever have had. Well….. maybe a tie with Jan.
It feels like you’re leaving a piece of our hearts, but I’m the lucky one.
I have hundreds of hand held, love filled, puzzle pieces of Fred’s TEXACO near and dear to remind me of your time spent with my Dad and our family. Until we meet again. Love ya!
My condolences and love are given to all of you as you mourn and celebrate Ron’s passing on to Glory, I, too, am mourning and celebrating. He was my favorite and only brother. Mom (Louise) and Ron are greeting one another with joy in their reunion. Char, you were Ron’s constant loving companion. I thank you for your devotion. He was smart to have made the choice to marry you,
Sorry for your loss, we have not communicated for many years, our heart goes out to you and family..
I’m so sorry for your loss Ron such a wonderful man of God
Jan, our deepest sympathies at Ron’s passing. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Sending love & hugs
Such a wonderful man. When I was in the 8th grade, I was actually cast as part of the barber shop quartet in the high school play “The Music Man”. I remember going to his house on 6th Street and working with him and his group to learn how to be part of a group like that. RIP Ron. My condolences to the family.
