Service Details
Her family will receive friends Monday, February 16, 2026 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Derl Keefer officiating. She will be laid to rest in Flowerfield Cemetery.

Sandra Lee Walton, 85, of Schoolcraft, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026 at her home.
She was born October 14, 1940 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Charles and Catherine (Stienma) Haynes.
Sandra worked at Hydra-Matic and later American Axle & Manufacturing.
She and Gerald “Jerry” Walton were married for 57 years prior to his passing in 2014. The couple enjoyed working outdoors together and spending time with their grandchildren.
Sandra leaves to cherish her memory her son, Gerald Michael Walton; daughter, Tammy Lynn Ballard; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Jean Hutchins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Vickie Lee (Dan) Collins; daughter-in-law, Cindy Walton; sisters-in-law, Ruth Shelton and Rita (John) Erdos; and brother-in-law, John (Vicki) Walton.

I’m so sorry to hear about Granny. She was one sweet lady. I’m so glad I had a chance to talk with her, when you were all in town. You were all so lucky to have her as your Grandmother. May she Rest in peace next to her Jerry! My sincere condolences!!
