The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Sheldon Combs officiating.
Obituary Notice
Wanda Beatrice Gilson, age 96, of Three Rivers passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Grace Healthcare Center. She was born in Fowlerville, MI on October 3, 1921 the daughter of Floyd and Nellie Mae (Phillips) Sidell.
She worked as a bookkeeper for close to 50 years at various lumber and wholesale window companies in Flint, MI. Wanda was a long standing member at West Suburban Bible Church until she moved to Three Rivers to be with family. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, and being with family. She rejoiced in the activities and accomplishments of her children and grandchildren.
Wanda was preceded in passing by her parents, sister Lillian, and brother William Sidell.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory son, Kenneth “Ric” (Bennita) Gilson of Three Rivers; daughter, Shaaron Gilson of Elk Grove, CA; sister, Helen Sidell of Flint, MI; grandchildren, Amy L. (Clint) Young and Jeffrey B. (Rebekah) Gilson; great grandchildren, Grace and Annemarie Young , Chase and Reese Gilson.

Memorial donations may be directed to Howardsville Christian School or Southern Care Hospice. Envelopes available at Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
