Service Details
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Karleen Kinker officiating. Interment will take place following the service at Riverside Cemetery of Three Rivers.
Obituary Notice
Mrs. Kathleen “Kay” Lucille Wortinger, age 96, of Three Rivers passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born May 1, 1922 in Three Rivers the daughter of the late Thomas and Zoa (McCrory) Lennon.
Mrs. Wortinger graduated from Three Rivers High School with the class of 1940. On June 6, 1948 she married Mr. Robert F. Wortinger. Kathy wore many hats, she was a salesman for Sears, drove bus for Three Rivers Community Schools, and bookkeeper and receptionist for Prairie Crop.
Kathleen was a member of the Circle 8 Ladies Club, the Red Hat Society, and a 4-H Leader. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, gift wrapping, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Robert F. Wortinger, and her brothers Howard and Thomas Lennon.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two children: Robert (Debbie) Wortinger and Cinda Forbush both of Three Rivers, MI; grandchildren: Lee (Leslie) Forbush, Sheramy Forbush, Rebecca Torres, Amanda (Glenn) Winters, and Jennifer Barner; great-grandchildren, A.J. and Elizabeth Torres, Aurora and Grant Winters, Madelynn Barner, and Abigaill and Katelin Forbush.

In memory of Kathleen donations may be made out to the charity of one’s choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
