Service Details

His family will receive friends Sunday, August 23, 2026 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Derl Keefer officiating.

Obituary Notice

Drew Richard Wilson, 36, of Sturgis, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026.

He was born May 29, 1990 in Three Rivers, the son of Marty J. and Diane K. (Hagerty) Wilson, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 2008. He was active in youth and high school sports.

Drew went on to Ferris State University, then served his country in the United States Marine Corps from December 2011 to February 2015; he was deployed to Afghanistan.

He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for more than eight years, delivering mail in the Three Rivers and Sturgis areas. He was active in the training of new employees and active in the Union.

Drew was an avid fan of University of Michigan football and the Chicago Cubs, who also enjoyed golfing and buying scratch-off tickets. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his father, Marty (Andrea) Wilson; mother, Diane (Jimmy) Spence; grandmothers, Connie Wilson and Fran Hagerty; brother, Travis (Kaitlyn) Wilson; sisters, Karlie (Terry) Clark and Kendra (Layne) Deuel; many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and his beloved dog, Finley.

Additional Information

Donations in Drew’s memory may be directed to the Sturgis Area Community Foundation designated to the James E. Riley Fund, which provides support for local veterans through the Emotional Support Animal Program of the St. Joseph County Office of Veterans Affairs. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

  1. Diane and family, Drewie always held a special place in our hearts as Krissy’s first boyfriend back in their preschool days. He was kind, thoughtful and always polite! Sending our heartfelt sympathies to your family during this time of sadness.

  2. Sincere condolences to the entire family for the loss of such a genuine and kind soul. Working with Drew was such a joy he would make you smile with some sort of wild humor that made him special. He was dedicated to our task of ensuring that the next group of USPS employees had the best training possible. He will be missed by many, may he now find eternal peace.
