His family will receive friends Sunday, August 23, 2026 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Derl Keefer officiating.

Drew Richard Wilson, 36, of Sturgis, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026.
He was born May 29, 1990 in Three Rivers, the son of Marty J. and Diane K. (Hagerty) Wilson, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 2008. He was active in youth and high school sports.
Drew went on to Ferris State University, then served his country in the United States Marine Corps from December 2011 to February 2015; he was deployed to Afghanistan.
He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for more than eight years, delivering mail in the Three Rivers and Sturgis areas. He was active in the training of new employees and active in the Union.
Drew was an avid fan of University of Michigan football and the Chicago Cubs, who also enjoyed golfing and buying scratch-off tickets. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his father, Marty (Andrea) Wilson; mother, Diane (Jimmy) Spence; grandmothers, Connie Wilson and Fran Hagerty; brother, Travis (Kaitlyn) Wilson; sisters, Karlie (Terry) Clark and Kendra (Layne) Deuel; many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and his beloved dog, Finley.
Additional Information
Donations in Drew’s memory may be directed to the Sturgis Area Community Foundation designated to the James E. Riley Fund, which provides support for local veterans through the Emotional Support Animal Program of the St. Joseph County Office of Veterans Affairs. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

So very sad to see this. He was a terrific neighbor, always friendly. Was happy to see he and his dog made it out of his house fire a few years back. Happened to run into Drew when he was helping his relative clean up the tornado mess back in March. Rest easy.
Our hearts weep for the friends and family of Drew. Drew, you will be missed by all of your coworker/friends at the USPS. I know that I will never again be able to watch a Wolverine football game without you crossing my mind. You always had a big heart, and it showed every time that you spoke about your family. Drew’s Home Depot family sends condolences to his family and friends. Drew was a great guy and we hated to see him leave our team. He would stop and chat with several of us when we ran into each other out and about. Before he moved to Sturgis, I would run into him at the Meijer gas station. I always asked if he was ready to come back to Home Depot and he always said, “Nope. Not yet” and we would laugh.
As we participate in Operation Green Light for Veterans this year, it takes on a more personal perspective for those of us that worked with Drew.
Condolences to the family. He always had a big smile on his face when with his neices and nephews at family parties.

Diane and family, Drewie always held a special place in our hearts as Krissy’s first boyfriend back in their preschool days. He was kind, thoughtful and always polite! Sending our heartfelt sympathies to your family during this time of sadness.

To my dear friend Diane and my second children Drew and Travis. My heart is broken. I have no words that will comfort. I can only offer hugs and a promise to always be here when you need a shoulder to cry on or to talk about all the wonderful memories of Drew. There will never be another casino trip or a scratch off ticket that I won’t be thinking of him. Drew’s heart was big but guarded. If you were lucky to be his friend or family then you for sure knew this about Drew. There is no doubt in my mind that he has found peace and he is watching down on everyone he loved to be sure we are taken care of. His love for his nieces, nephews and cousins is one thing that I can say without a doubt that he treasured. The love for his brother has always been strong although brutal at times I know for sure he also cherished this bond. Drew was a one of kind. He could be hard and brash on the outside but inside he was a total marshmallow. One of my favorite memories is when Drew had Wyatt who was just a baby golfing. Drew had Wyatt strapped into a seat in the golf cart and you could tell that he was totally in love and so proud that Kate and Travis trusted him enough to have Wyatt ride with him. Oh how I am gonna miss you Drew. I hope you knew how much you were loved by our family as well as your own. I wish I could go back to when you were little and we had nerf gun fights and you thought I was something special because I made nachos in the oven. My heart will never be same. Be at peace…I got your mom, so you don’t need to worry about her. I am sending hugs to the entire family..we lost a good one.
My condolences to the family. Drew was a terrific guy to have around. His sense of humor and kindness brightened my days and I am going to miss our often lengthy conversations on everything and anything. He will be missed immensely.

He was dedicated to our task of ensuring that the next group of USPS employees had the best training possible. He will be missed by many, may he now find eternal peace.
