Service Details
In accordance with family wishes, cremation will be conducted. A short service will be held at the VFW in Marcellus on September 21st at 2:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life dinner at 4:00pm.
Obituary Notice
Angela Rose Wilkins, 47, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024 at Ascension Borgess Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 19, 1976 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Joseph and Karen (Schabes) Woods, she attended Three Rivers High School and then went on to Glen Oaks Community College where she received her Associates Degree in Business. In Angela’s younger years she enjoyed being outside. She liked swimming and was always super competitive. She also enjoyed playing volleyball, softball, and tennis. She was very close to her brother Joey and her favorite music was rock and roll.
Angela was a dedicated employee of Barletta Boats, working for many years as a helm builder. She enjoyed working with her hands and had an eye for detail. Her role offered a sense of pride and accomplishment knowing that the helms were built with care.
On October 2, 1998, she married Jeffrey Wilkins. Jeffrey and Angela enjoyed spending time in the house together relaxing and watching television as well as talking about their day and spending time with their dogs. Outside of the house they enjoyed going to haunted houses, camping, and spending time with their children and grandchildren no matter the location. Their home was also a place of comfort for the family to spend time and create memories together.
Angela was a truly remarkable person, known for her unwavering loyalty, kindness, and sense of humor. She had a unique ability to lift the spirits of those around her. Her presence brought joy and comfort to everyone she met.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her mother, Karen Woods (Roger Fredricks); husband, Jeffrey Wilkins; sons, Brandon (Delaney) Wilkins, Jeremy (Megan) Altimus, and Jeffrey (Dylan) Wilkins; step-daughters, Whitney Wilkins and Tiffany Wilkins; nine beloved grandchildren; sisters, Dawn (Larry) Phelps and Misty Schabes (John Rexford).
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Woods; and her brother, Joey Woods.

Well what can I say, we had a blast together just loved laughing our butts off most days. She was a strong women that I proudly call my friend. She will be missed, she was one of kind. Barbie Woost known as “babbs” to Angie.
Jeff, I’m so sorry to hear about Angela. Even though I didn’t know her, she sounds like a loving and caring person. Sending prayers to you and your family for strength and comfort during this difficult time.
