A memorial service will be held at The Blesing Home on the River on Sat. June 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Barry always loved a HOMEMADE POTLUCK. Please bring a dish to pass and come enjoy some time on the river.    

Obituary Notice

Barry Eugene Blesing, age 82, of Three Rivers, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 21, 1938 in Kalamazoo, MI, the son of the late Eugene and Ida (Campbell) Blesing. Barry was raised in Gobles, MI on Brandywine Lake where he spent time fishing with his Mom and working on many projects with his Dad. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and upon his discharge began working at National Water Lift alongside his father. He also spent many of his earlier years buying, fixing, and racing cars. He later became a Tool and Die maker at X-L Machine where he met the love of his life Pam. Barry and Pam spent the last 20 years of his life fishing and cruising the St. Joe River. Above all Barry loved his family and his friends. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all.
Barry leaves to cherish in his loving memory, his wife, Pamela “Pam” Blesing; three daughters, Michelle (Christopher) Rasler, Amy Blivin, and Kristy (Chris) Bloom; two sons, Michael Blesing, and Eugene (Jessica) Blesing; two sisters, Evelyn (Jim) Walburn and Carol (Jesse) Richards; fifteen beloved grandchildren, Erika, Derek, Bryon, Correy, Makoche, Kylie, Victoria, Tiffany, Chayton, Rowen, Ellyssa, Ava, Shae, Parker and Carter; great grandchildren, Adelynm and Cayden; and his special baby girl, Sheila.

  1. Hey Dad, thank you for being my dad. I know it was a tough job, but you seemed to handle it and get through it without a scratch. You are the only hero I’ve ever had. I’ll miss you more than I can ever say. I love you dad.
