A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26th, 2022 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Leon Troyer officiating.
Obituary Notice
Mrs. Carol Ann Schoon, age 78, of Three Rivers passed away peacefully at the Edgewood Nursing Center on Saturday, Sept. 17th, 2022. She was born in Plainwell, MI. on November 14, 1943, the daughter of the late Henry and Fannie (Metz) Leep.
Mrs. Schoon was an active member of Engage Church formerly Agape Church where she made many friendships. She was a nurse and worked at various nursing homes throughout Southwest Michigan. Carol had a passion for reading, but her true love was her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, one daughter, Stephanie Schoon; four sons, Robert (Marita), David (Joyce), Philip (Frieda), and Paul (Bobbi) Schoon. One sister, Mary Sluiter; six brothers, John, Richard, Tom, Mark, Robert and Dan Leep. Eleven beloved grandchildren, Samantha, David, Michael, Faith, Ariel, Janine, Macie, Meghan, Morgan, Paige and Ethan. One very special great grandchild, Allaya. Two very close friends Pat Weiss and Jan Horton.

Memorial donations may be made to the Three Rivers Public Library. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
